Even though Barbara and Lori have engaged in many arguments on the show, their fights have not gone past Shark Tank. But in 2023, Barbara Corcoran intrigued the show’s viewers with her statement regarding hating Lori Greiner.
Did Barbara Hate Lori?
In 2023, Barbara Corcoran made some honest revelations in an interview with ‘People.’ During it, the Shark investor was asked about her misjudged deals on the show. While remembering the same, Barbara talked about Scrub Daddy and said losing out on the sponge business was one of her regrets from Shark Tank.
Sharing further details, the Shark Tank judge said that although the business is now the ‘second-most profitable’ deal on the show, she never expected it to become a hit. Barbara then thought that Lori Greiner’s investment was a ‘dumb’ move.
She added that a month after Lori’s deal, she went to her sister’s house and saw she had the Scrub Daddy sponges everywhere in the house. On seeing this, the Shark investor jokingly said, ‘I hated Lori.’ Further, proving her wrong, Scrub Daddy is now worth $926 million.
In the same interview, Barbara recalled a similar experience when Lori Greiner invested in ReadeRest. The Shark investor said that her 90-year-old uncle called her one day and excitedly told her that ‘I got the craziest thing on Shark Tank.’ Barbara revealed that it was ‘her stupid glasses.’ ‘I again hated Lori.’
The Real Bond Between Barbara And Lori
