ABC has announced the Shark Tank Season six premiere. Everyone’s favorite venture capital reality show returns Friday, September 26 at 8 PM EST and it will be a two hour special episode. Whether it’s one complete, 2 hour show or just a “double dose” is unclear at this time; ABC didn’t release many details –  other than the date and time of the season six premiere. After September 26, Shark Tank returns to its “regular” Friday night 9 PM EST time slot.
Shark Tank Season Six Premiere Sharks
Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Lori Grenier, Robert Herjavec, and Kevin O’Leary return to the Shark Tank in season 6. We’ll likely see a mix of Sharks with Lori and Barbara appearing together on occaision (like we saw in season 5). ABC did not announce any “guest Sharks” for season 6, but you never know!
Season 6 had over 50,000 applicants as Shark Tank has reached more fans than ever. The show was nominated for two more Emmys this year: one for the Oustanding Structured Reality Program and one for Ken Fuchs for Oustanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming.
With Shark Tank in reruns for the summer, fans are getting a steady diet of the show, but the season six premiere has everyone marking their calendars, getting ready to “get their Shark Tank on.”
