Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 11: Dude Wipes Update
Dude Wipes got a special mention in Shark Tank season 16 episode 11’s special segment and it has an inspiring success story. It was created in 2011 by childhood friends Sean Riley, Ryan Meegan, and Jeffrey Klimkowski from Chicago. Riley was frustrated with toilet paper and started using baby wipes, but they weren’t made for adults. This led to Dude Wipes, a flushable wipe for men.
The founders invested $30,000 from their savings to produce the first batch. With little money for marketing, they promoted it by handing out samples at colleges, music festivals, and fraternity houses, growing the brand through grassroots efforts.
