the snow in seconds storyIn the winter wonderland that is Minnesota, the Snow in Seconds Story emerged as a family-owned business in 2008, bringing a touch of magic to the snowy landscape. Snow in Seconds, founded by Jonathan Dusing, stands as the original fake snow, revolutionizing the way we experience winter festivities. With a more than a decade of experience under its belt, this innovative product has become a household name for those seeking an instant snowy transformation. Let’s dive into the enchanting world of the Snow in Seconds story and discover the science behind the magic.

Made in the USA

Proudly based in Minnesota, Snow in Seconds boasts a legacy rooted in a region renowned for its winter landscapes. As a family-owned business, the company has thrived over the years, providing the ultimate snowy experience for countless families across the nation. Being made in the U.S.A., the product ensures quality and authenticity, setting it apart from the competition.

Instant Snow Magic

What sets Snow in Seconds apart is its remarkable ability to grow 100 times its size in just seconds. Resembling fine flour but with a denser texture, this instant snow mimics the real thing effortlessly. The secret behind the magic? Just add water! For every teaspoon of Snow in Seconds, adding a mere 1/4 cup of water results in an eruption of fluffy white snow, creating a winter wonderland in an instant.

A Little Goes a Long Way

The key to maximizing the snow experience is to add water in small increments. By doing so, the powder reaches its full expansion potential, ensuring that a little goes a long way. The result is cold, realistic snow that feels just like the genuine article without the mess.

Long-Lasting and Reusable

One of the most remarkable features of Snow in Seconds is its longevity. This snow doesn’t melt away, lasting several days and even offering the possibility of reuse. Simply let it dry, store it in an airtight container, and bring it back to life whenever the winter spirit strikes. The product maintains the temperature of the water it’s mixed with, providing a consistently cool and enjoyable experience.

Customizable Snow

Enhance your winter festivities by customizing your snow with colored variations. Add a few drops of food coloring to the water before mixing to create a vibrant and personalized snowy landscape. Whether you prefer classic white or a spectrum of colors, Snow in Seconds adapts to your creative vision.

Practical Tips

While the Snow in Seconds story provides a magical experience, it’s essential to handle it with care. The mixture is slippery, so caution is advised on walking surfaces. Avoid using it on driveways and instead opt for grassy areas. Table salt comes to the rescue for a quick cleanup, breaking down and dehydrating the mixture in seconds.

My Take on Snow in Seconds

I moved to Florida to get away from snow. The year we moved here, we had 15 feet of snow! That’s too much. Sure, it’s pretty, but palm trees are pretty too. I do not get the least bit nostalgic about snow. As I like to say: “I like looking at the snow. On Facebook. In Florida.”

That said, this looks like a pretty cool product. If I were inclined to have an elaborate outdoor Christmas display, this would be part of it. I’m sure kids love it too. Getting my snow from Amazon seems a lot better than getting it from Mother Nature!

Will Sharks Like The Snow in Seconds Story?

I’m not sure why Mr. Dusing needs a Shark. He’s been successfully running the business for 15 years. That said, he could want to go into retail. If his margins are good, expect a royalty offer from Mr. Wonderful. Lori could be interested too since it an easily demonstrated, inexpensive product. Other than those two, I can’t see any other Sharks bidding.
