Mabel and Shaira Frías introduce the Sharks to Luna Magic, their make up company featuring bright colors and a “Latin Vibe.” Chrissie Lam and her mom, Gladys, seek a Shark’s help growing the Love Is Project, a business that sells bracelets made by women in developing countries. Bradley Hall and Stason Stong want to make a big splash with the Bubbly Blaster, their “Champagne gun” that shoots Champagne like a squirt gun up to 30 feet. Cole and Emily Williams seek an investment in Slice of Sauce, their dried slices of ketchup and barbeque sauce.

Back in season 9, Mark Cuban and Sarah Blakely invested $250,000 for 10% of Alice’s Table, a flower arranging “business in a box.” In tonight’s update segment, we’ll see how the company is doing and get a look at a deal they company (with Mark’s help) made with 1-800 Flowers.

There are 22  Shark Tank Episodes for Season 12. This season features more appearances by “guest Sharks,” including two returning guest Sharks: Alex Rodriguez and Daniel Lubetzky. In addition, two new guest Sharks will appear throughout season 12: Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS Shoes and MadeFor, and Kendra Scott, founder of Kendra Scott, LLC, a fashion company she started in her spare bedroom in 2002 with $500. The Shark Tank Episode 1211 entrepreneurs will make their best pitch to the panel of five Shark investors who will use their own money if they choose to invest. The Shark Investors negotiate on the spot without any previous information, which differs from typical negotiations between venture capital investors and entrepreneurial start-ups.

Companies pitching the Shark Investors must go through a rigorous due diligence process before an on-air deal is completed. Shark Tank Blog follow ups help you keep track of the companies that end up successful and the ones that don’t complete their deal.

Afro-Latina sisters from Los Angeles, California, pitch the Sharks their vibrant beauty and lifestyle brand that celebrates their mutual love for their multicultural heritage, while a duo of entrepreneurs from Los Angeles, California, brings celebrating with champagne to the next level with their fun and less-mess product on “Shark Tank,” FRIDAY, JAN. 15 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EST), on ABC. (TV-PG, L) Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.

In a “Shark Tank” update, season nine entrepreneur Alice Lewis updates us on how her Boston, Massachusetts-based company, Alice’s Table, has continued to innovate in order to use female-centric experiential workshops to bring people together during the global pandemic with help from her investor Mark Cuban and mega-successful distribution company 1-800-Flowers.
